This art project was exhibited at Misk Art Week, SASCA Dammam, Huna Space, Almashtal Space and other places.

W’ard

For this project, I decided to step away from my usual continuous-line drawings in black and red and try something new. It became a playful experiment with different materials, colors, and techniques—collage, mixed media, 3D sculptures, and even video. It’s messy, it’s layered, and it’s a lot of fun.

At the heart of it all is the rose—a symbol that feels universal, something that connects people no matter where they’re from. This idea was inspired by the classic Saudi song 'Wardak Ya Zare' al-Ward' by Talal Madah. It’s a timeless piece of music, simple yet deeply moving, and it stuck with me as I worked on this project.

‘W’ard is my way of exploring how art can bridge tradition and the contemporary, using the rose as a metaphor for connection and shared experiences. It’s a personal journey, but I hope it sparks something for you too. Take a look around, and let me know what you think!
